Pink sky - comments welcome
I enjoyed both photos, particularly the kayaker shot, but only after I finally scrolled down far enough to see the yellow surprise at the bottom. Well done!
I also enjoy the "opportunity shots". I like that kind of photography even more than the shots I plan out in advance while hoping to achieve perfection.
By the way, is the East River really that polluted?
I was out with my family celebrating my birthday this past weekend and didn't feel like carrying my DSLR. So I brought my trusty Canon SD850 instead. Here are a couple "opportunity" photos from my day out... I'm glad I brought my pocket cam.
This is the historic landmark Greenpoint Savings Bank building in Brooklyn at sunset. The beautiful pink sky and the warm glow of the setting sun reflecting off the dome made me pull out my camera.
Here is an adventurous kayaker in the East River near Brooklyn Heights. I hope she had her hepatitis shot!
