Tamron 90/2.8 272EN and 272EN II???
So is the screw drive one cheaper? I just got a screw drive AF D type. I thought that has built in AF motor.
Which one is performing better?
Optically they are the same, and the BIM is not faster or more silent than the screw. The newer one obviously suits the small bodies better, while the aperture ring is desired in case one wants to use it on bellows for super-macro magnifications.
