I agree about the unprocessed shot, looks much more natural. I think it's probably a satellite too.
All cameras have some hot pixels in long exposed images, increasing with exposure time and age of the camera. You can enable long exposure noise reduction or use the program PixelFixer to map them out in RAW.
I like your unprocessed shot better, the second shot is too saturated and starts posterizing on my screen. Looks like a satellite!
