He's getting sellable results by using purely jpeg OOC with his EX1. Personally, seeing his results, I'm in agreement, that RAW shouldn't even be offered anymore, the jpeg engine is so good. Just needs some work before each shot, but the results are stunning and professional.

If it's a concern to you, shoot RAW, or RAW+JPEG, and use the RAW files for anything requiring significant enlargement. The RAW files show the sharpness of this lens. The RAW files also do a better job of retaining color detail at higher ISOs.
If the large size bothers you, you can use the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert them to DNGs, which are 1/2 to 2/3 the size of the native RAW files.
