If Canon is reading this thread then they now know that leaving the flash out was probably a mistake, giving the competition another check mark against them. We all know that a built in flash is a compromised feature, but it can still come in handy for some. It is not a compromise when it comes to using it as a remote trigger and it can work fine with many smaller lenses. Canon needs to look at the BIG picture.
