In other words, you're wrong. I'm not pointing fingers at any one. You're the one who said that hot shoe flashes were contraptions only needed to get otherwise impossible shots, without regard to how your everyday photography can be enhanced by its use.

Why did you buy the 7D, anyway? Why not just buy a 60D? Lighter, smaller and shares the same sensor...
