Re: Solar eclipse shots

Nice shots!

I live to far east to have seen the ring of fire, but was hoping to see the first 2/3 of the eclipse but clouds rolled in and I only got a few minutes of party cloudy viewing. The clouds were so thick I had to remove my black polymer filter to see anything. The photos were okay and the clouds provided a nice effect, but my plan to shoot time lapse was squashed by the clouds!

This was taken with my Canon T1i using a Nikon 200mm AI prime and Nikon TC-200 2x Teleconverter, f/4, 1/4000 sec, ISO 100, no filter.
