Solar eclipse shots
Just recently got home from a road trip to Cedar City, Utah to try my hand at photographing the solar eclipse. Here are a few random shots of the eclipse.
Those are sunspots you can see on the surface of the sun.
Sony NEX 5n and Sigma 50-500 lens with a solar filter for a telescope that I borrowed from an astronomer friend. All mounted on a Benbo Trekker tripod and triggered with a remote shutter release. I had a great time on this trip and capturing these images and hope that you enjoy seeing them.
Regards, hex anon.
