NEX7 is great, but no DSLR replacement...

I enjoy the NEX7, but it's no replacement for my D800. I prefer an optical viewfinder for sports and low light situations, and like the Nikon's control layout. While the tri-navi control is unique and efficient, the EV dial can be moved too easily (when used as the right control). Also, as noted above, the EVF sometimes doesn't work in bright light.

That being said, I can't imagine an easier-to-carry and versatile travel camera. In fact, for an upcoming trip, it will be the only camera I bring--no Nikon for the first time since 1978!

In a perfect world, enjoy both.
