I believe you have "Bricked" your lens. If the power to the camera dies or your internet connection fails during firmware update, the camera or lens becomes inopperable. You must send it back to the factory for resetting. It's a repair job and there will likely be a charge ragardless of the warrranty. The good news is it can be fixed.
I believe you can download the firmware update to a file on your hard drive before beginning the update. If so, this eliminates the risk of losing your internet connection during the update. You can perform the update off-line. Look for more info on the Olympus support page.
