Re: Lenses for the Nikon D800: DEPENDS

Thanks for the advice; As i have said before i just bought the nikkor 70 200 mm F2.8 VR2 and i,m waiting for amazon to ship the Nikkon D800 as soon they have availability.

After buying the nikon d800 and the nikkor 70 200 mm F2.8 VR2, I' m in a tight budget, so the choice is now between the Nikkor 24 70 mm F2.8 and the Nikkor 14 24mm F2.8, but i' m not going to take a decision until i receive my Nikon D800 and experiment it with my current lenses the Nikkor 16 85 mm F3.5 VR2 and the Sigma 08 16 mm HSM.

Plus i don't know why i have a feeling that Nikon is going to produce a newer version of these lenses since both of these lenses where introduced back in 2007 this means that the technology used to produce these lenses are 5 years old, i might be wrong but their is an inner voice telling me i should wait, especially since i have dx lenses that cover the focal length of these 2 lenses.

Best Regards,
