Very nice. But I have a question. I was trying to do lightning shots tonight and I cannot get my D7000 to stay open longer than 30 seconds on bulb or any other long shutter speed. I see your photo was done at 182 seconds.

Any tips?

I set the camera on manual mode and change to bulb by altering the exposure time. I also used an electronic cable release, one of the ones you press in and push forward to start the capture and then press in and pull back to end the shot. It's only a very cheap third party release think it cost me less than £5 here in the UK. I also put it on the self timer option and it seems to stay open for as long as I keep it open. Hope this helps.
