How will Olympus sell any more EP3s?

Interesting observation. I'd assumed E2 was skipped because of the (very) long gap between E1 and E3. There may have been an E2 that almost made it production but was didn't.

Even numbers are included with the PENs, as evidenced by the fact that there was an E-P2. Skipping a number will look silly and I'm sure Olympus' marketing knows it.

I'd assumed the practice by Panasonic of skipping the number 4 was due to Japanese companies being more confident in expressing their own cultural tradition. This is probably due to the massive growth (assumed) of the Asian market in the last ten years or so.

Time will tell.
