Don't get me wrong, the images at the higher ISOs look great as well. But if I have the opportunity to eek out every bit of performance and quality due to having plenty of lighting in a controlled environment, then I will do my best to achieve that. In this scenario it's not like I need to shoot faster than 1/250s anyways due to sync speed limitations.

Otherwise, I have had good experience shooting up to ISO 1600 and 3200 (I haven't yet needed to shoot much higher yet). But I prefer to stick as low as possible in ISO speed if I can afford to and usually can stay at 800 or below.
