A smaller senor better than APS-C on brighter lens ?

I agree. Especially from a monetary perspective. For a price of NEX 5N, I can buy a used Canon or Nikon PLUS a good pocketable camera such as S100 or XZ-1. We live in iPad generation where smaller is better and taken everywhere (but not necessarily most powerful). I kind of look at my Canon dslr as the 'desktop' at home for serious photography and my XZ-1 as a 'iPad2' that I can take everywhere. And NEX would be the powerful 17" Alienware laptop - great when you need the portability and power, but most of the time too bulky to be your take everywhere gadget.
