100% agree. I made the mistake bying 5D mk2.

I should have bought Nikon D7000 and similar lenses.
I would have got much better DR (I shoot landscapes mostly).

Crop Camera vs. Full Frame Camera Equivalent:

Ultra Wide:

Canon 60D 10-22mm ($900+$800) $1,700 vs. Canon 5D3 16-35mm II L ($3,500+$1,800) $5,300

Mid Focal Range

Canon 60D 17-55mm ($900+$1,100) $2,000 vs. Canon 5D3 24-70mm L ($3,500+$1,400) $4,900

Long Focal Range

Canon 60D 70-300mm IS non L ($900+$450) $1,350 vs. Canon 5D3 70-300mm L ($3,500+$1,500) $5,000

(Today prices) As you guys can see is like 3 times or more as expensive to get the FF with L class lenses. Does one really get 3 times better IQ than the crop and non L lenses class?

I put the example with the 60D because is the one that I own now. I don't make a living taking pictures. What are your opinions?
