Shanghai Nights

Hi Everyone,

When I was in Shanghai recently, there was a shot I have always wanted to take and finally we found the place to take it.

Just to put you in the picture, it is of the Bund looking down the road at night.

Previously other famous shots were taken from the Light house tower on the pedestrian side, but that is now dilapidated and out of bounds, so I had to find some where else that was suitable.

We walked around the area looking for a spot when we saw someone taking a shot for on top of one of the buildings, so we went to investigate.

My wife and I looked at the building ground level and found there was a bar/restaurant and took the elevator up.

They said no problem to take shots but we must buy something even it is just a drink.

WELL, we bought a cup of tea = $45 which was the cheapest, the most expensive was $37000 a bottle of wine !!!!!
Took some shots and 2hrs later left very happy !

Here are the results-

The restaurant - looking out

And from the other side of the river looking back over at The Bund at sunrise

A Birth Certificate shows that we were born.
A Death Certificate shows that we died.
Pictures show that we lived!
