The report indicates that the ZF21 has noticeably greater barrel distortion and vignetting. Also their MTF chart (on photozone) indicates that both lens resolution is very similar, right down to the edges (when the 14-24mm is at 21mm). The 14-24mm has a bit more CA though.

At 25mm, it was the reverse, though. I like the 24/1.4G much better there. At 60mm I only have the Nikon, and at 100mm only the Zeiss, so I can't offer any opinion at those lengths.
