Re: No Ideal Implementation of Bracketing

I guess Olympus users might be used to one way of operation. But as a newcomer to Olympus, I am completely with Royi.

The first time I tried it, I kept wondering why I wasn't getting multiple shots. It wasn't apparent that I had to press the shutter three times to get three bracketed shots. That makes no sense to me. If my intent is to vary exposure settings not the composition, I want the camera to take all exposures as fast as possible.

That's almost a requirement if you want to do any HDR post processing and elements of the scene will change between manual shutter clicks.

Also, the bracketing implementation is not consistent. For WB and Art Bracketing, the camera takes multiple shots with one shutter click. But AE, Flash and ISO bracketing options require you to press the shutter multiple times. (manual, page 63)
