SMC Pentax F* 300mm f/4.5 (images and question)

Wow, I can't believe I had never tried one of these old F* lenses before, the build quality is simply amazing, and so is the image quality. I love how compact the 300mm f4.5 is, it is only about 200mm long (too the sensor, lens is 160mm), so it has a telephoto ratio of approximately 0.67.

My old Tair 300mm f/4.5 is 300mm long and doesn't perform as well and weighs much more, with a telephoto ratio of about 1, it isn't compact and uses much larger elements. It is a decent enough lens, but I rarely use it due to size constraints.

My question is, where can I get a tripod foot for this lens? Seems rather hard to find.

All photos with the K100D with minor processing in Lightroom:

ISO 200, f/6.3, 1/200

ISO 200, f/6.3, 1/400

ISO 200, f/6.3, 1/200

ISO 200, f/4.5, 1/200

Of the lens:

be what it may - light, shade, and perspective will always make it
beautiful. - John Constable (quote)
