Panasonic 3D1

Hi all,

Just returned from a trip to Bulgaria. Did not bring the Fuji W3 and only the Sony HX9V and Canon 550D along wit the 3D1.

Decided to only do the 3D1 and only in 3D for video and images. Because of the better video and perhaps images, the 3D1 might be a better travel camera. Battery not much of a problem. A full day of walking around Sofia (about 400 pics and 10 short videos onless than two batteries (I have the extended life ones).

What I found was that the images (and video) in many cases needed adjustment in Stereo Photomaker. Some adjustments were rather large, some not so. Still learning why perhaps the zoom. In any case for the most part images are not ready right out of the camera.

But it in the end right now the 3D1 is a good travel camera. But wish there were more controls for the 3D.
