G3 with IR
For the first sunny day in the south of England for weeks, I had a play with the Hoya R72 Infrared filter on my G3. Some interesting effects. I found that setting the white balance manually on the camera to white on grass produced the best results, followed by a bit of simple colour and contrast tweaking in picassa. With a bright scene like this the camera's AF worked fine, but it was necessary to find something to rest the camera on as I didn't have a tripod with me.
