Just curious... DX lens + TC on FX body
I don't know if this is an old topic but I couldn't find something usefull to answer my question. I know that Nikon's TeleConverter don't fit most DX lenses for physical issues (I was able to find a discussion about that on web), but what about a Sigma TC with an Sigma DX lens (crop, whatever) on a FX body (fullframe, whatever)?
(I know that kenko's TC do that fine, but I'm not sure about autofocus availability, and sigma has that information on the website)
let's say a sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 with a sigma 1.4x TC... if I put it on a fullframe body I'll get something about 70-200mm f/4 (without vignetting)?
Please, don't ask me why would I want to do that... i'm curious, haven't found answer on web and no resources to test it myself.
If someone knows about it, or can test it himself, please share
