Alternatives to Lightning Source
Are there any pros or published photogs out there that might know of an alternative to Lightning source?
The issue we have is that they only accept CMYK (as with most publishers) that wreck our images (cthulhu themed cook book) when we convert using the methods they require. But I cant help but wonder why they cant print in a similar way adorama and other photo books do (price?).
We do have a book out now that still looks fine to all who see it but to people like us who are aware of color, contrast and such we can see that the photos are a little de-saturated and muted.
If you know who Lightning Source is than you know why we cant use the photo book services by Adorama and such....
