I am using the wft-e5a along with shuttersnitch to wirelessly transfer small jpegs to my iPad for review. I had some difficulty getting everything set up but after reviewing the Rob Galbraith articles on this topic got everything running perfectly for FTP mode.
I have been unsuccessful in using the "WFT Server" mode which should allow for remote control of the camera. I can connect and login from my desktop PC and from the iPad but I do not receive an image or release the shutter when I use the "camera control" tab of the software. Curiously, I can change other settings like ISO, aperture and shutter speed.
I don't know what forum or location to take my questions on this. Is there a Canon forum for software issues with their WFT systems?
