Connecting the dots, so to speak...there is another thread called "OM-D Sensor Dust". In it, the OP states that he actually did a wet clean of the E-M5 sensor. Note his comments about the moving IBIS. It appears he just went ahead and cleaned the sensor, even if it did move around on him. Perhaps this isn't as big a problem as we were afraid of after all?

Inspecting the spot under a light it seems like its depth is lower than the surface of the plate
I used 4 swabs, then used about 7 pec-pads around the spatulas but no success

FYI, the IBIS makes it kind of annoying to clean the sensor...the whole assembly just moves while you swipe across the sensor
