Some ideas for you -- For cemeteries in Manhattan, you should go to Trinity Church and St. Paul's Chapel - both very close to each other downtown. You'll have easy close access to the ground zero area and Wall Street from there. The Federal Building (where Washington was inaugurated as the first US president) and the NYSE are also interesting spots in the same area. You can take a quick ferry from downtown to Hoboken where you can capture skyline photos from across the Hudson and catch the unique mixture of things there, too (like the interesting mix of an older Italian generation with the young urbanites working in Manhattan). Hoboken is a one square mile town and reportedly has more bars per square mile than any other town in the US. There's a TV show in the US called "Cake Boss" and the bakery where it's filmed is right on the main street (called Washington) in Hoboken. For a real rich view of New York's various cultures I would also spend some time in the lower east side, Chinatown, SoHo and central park. If you are very adventurous, you might want to consider a trip on the subway to Coney Island in Brooklyn -- interesting photos guaranteed. Oh - I would go to B&H - that place is awesome. Enjoy!
