Noise Reduction in "RAW" samples

It's pretty obvious that the high ISO samples have had a large dose of noise reduction applied to it. There are three possibilities here:

  • Fuji is pre-cooking RAW files by directly applying noise reduction to "RAW" files

  • Adobe is secretly applying noise reduction to Fuji RAW files even when NR is explicitly disabled

  • DP Review mistakenly applied noise reduction during conversion

So which is it? If it was just a mistake by DPR, that may explain why the low ISO samples look disappointingly soft for a camera with no AA filter.
