SX40 word of warning....
Do not take the SX40 to an Air Show as your only camera...!
Now I remember why I bought a DSLR....the speed...! I just thought I'd give the SX40 a "shot" at it...so to speak.
While the static shots were very nice for the most part (noting the sun's location..!), the high speed fly-by's....I had to toss over half of shots that I took. I did check a coupla shots and noticed a camera speed (focus to shoot speed and push the button to capture speed) problem, so I started taking "many" simillar shots hoping to get some worth keeping.
After getting home and uploading them to my computer...a small few ended up worth keeping..! Hopefully, some/many are a large enough file that I can crop them enough to make them worth keeping.
I tried all of the available focusing and IS adjustments within the camera...as I said, not a fast enough camera for aircraft just a few hundred feet above you at 150+ MPH.
Oh well...I gave it a good try.
