Nikon P510 as remote viewfinder.
Thanks for the update. My Panny FZ150 will live view stills right through my DVD recorder to my TV, so I can record and watch whatever the LCD sees. I can also remote shutter wireless or wired for at least 25 feet, but no zoom. I was hoping the P510 might at least do some sort of live view. I sure wish it had a remote feature as 2 sec. isn't long enough for me and in 10 sec. alot can change when viewing the Moon and/or Sun at 1000mm.
The Nikon P510 looks like a very worthy camera and I was thinking of trying, but we'll see. The IQ and resolution certainly are appealing.
No. You need a program to control your camera, like Nikon camera control pro 2 or something better. It would need to be controlled in the computer. You would need to check the program if you could stream it to a larger screen (tv) but you need the computer. Don't waste your time and money but good idea anyway.-- hide signature --
