Re: Larger sensors

Poor? and that's why I didn't....

however, I understand that the Sony 18-200 is a very sharp lens. Certainly you don't have to change the lens to have a range that I now enjoy.

I don't find myself reaching for the Sony. I wish it had an optical view finder, or good EVF.
Kids in motion and birds in flight are hard for me to capture with the Sony.

Good thing we have choices.

My wife looked at my NEX5 and said, let's sell our Nikon gear. I said, sell yours; keeping mine.

(Great images. Sometimes images that I can't capture with my Nikon.)

I posted because I think that the OP is following the same path I have been on. I chuckled at myself buying slightly larger sensors. 1-G9/2-G11's/LX5 I have read lots; dismissed Mr. Rockwell's advice to get the smallest dslr body for improved image quality.

Dismissed the Nikon interchangeable lens camera (mirrorless) as frivolous when it first came out.

Suggest reading Thom Hogan's sites for info and constructive chriticism of Nikon stuff, and mirrorless camera systems.
