Under-exposure on the E-600, over the top?

Even if it sounds aright and logically, it is not correct , unfortunatelly.

The genuine user's guide clearly states, in LV shooting section, that ocular of the viewfinder has to be covered to avoid affecting exposure from falling light (sorry, I do not have E-620 manual in my hands, but the same was stated also in E-5 manual which I do have now).

I just also performed a small experiment with my camera to be sure - there was different exposure shown od display in LV mode when I kept viewfinder opened in comparison to viewfinder was covered.

Both this experiment and the statement in user's guide together are strong proof, IMHO, that light falling into the viewfinder affects the exposure even in the Live View mode .
