This isn't a "worst case" scenario sample but a typical example of the issue.

That is two images from different places, you can't compare that. Bokeh is a very subjective thing, comparing images this way is silly.

By the way, the image in the Tamron review with "onion" bokeh was taken with water droplets on the lens, as described by the tester, this will cause strange fenomena.

To compare bokeh ebtween two lenses they must image the same subject at identical apertures.
