Nikon d7000 with older lenses
Hi, maybe you should post this question on the D7000 forum, as you'll get a better chance to receive the right answers.
Both lenses you mention will autofocus on the D7000. However, their performance may be disappointing, as these are cheap, old lenses, designed for film slr's as part of entry-level kits. I have both lenses - unused for a very long time- as their performance on digital slr's leaves a lot to be desired (even on 6mp cameras such as the d70). Moreover, the D7000 is quite a sophisticated camera very sensible to a number of factors when it comes to af performance. Quality of lens is one factor and those two you mentioned are simply not up to the demands of the D7000. You may get lucky, however, so by all means try them but maybe you should consider a modern dx zoom such as the 18-105 or the 16-85.
