NX20 needs a new EVF/resting AMOLED mode.

When you put your eye far from the EVF it turn off and the AMOLED screen turn on.

That is a good and logical function, but I am pretty sure many people like me just use the info on the AMOLED ignoring the LiveView scene because we use the EVF more frequently.

Since the NX20 (and NX10/11) has a AMOLED screen, each pixel could be turn on and off individually, saving energy and proving just the necessary info.

In this way a function mode that Samsung should to include in a future NX20 firmware is an EVF/resting AMOLED option.

When you are not using the EVF the AMOLED screen just should show the shot information that we have in the bottom and sides of the screen.

Turning the AMOLED screen off and only using the blue pixels (that represent the 25% of all of them), we could have the necessary info saving a good amount of energy.

The EVF could be not turned off in that time, since it is a LCD bringing down the brightness and just increasing it when the EVF is closing to the eye would allow a faster response to use the EVF and saving energy when it is not been used.

It mode could be optional along the regular way it is working.

What do you think??
