I am still happy with my NX10 and NX11 camera. For me it is still the photographer (me), who is the limiting factor when it is about making great pictures.

It really is all about budget - if it is not tight then the NX20 offers features a plenty and with the NX200 sensor should provide great quality.

If however you can just afford the NX20 and kit lens for the foreseable future, it would be wise considering the NX11 and some additional lenses.

I like to travel and sometimes sleep in trains or are in places where security of luggage is doubtful, so I am a strong supporter of the cheapest gear that can do the job. And I always want more than one camera, just in case....

Thomas, I agree. As an NX user I obviously want the mount to survive, and I think that the new nx sensor will more than guarantee it's survival. I have used a friends Nx200 extensively, in fact so much that I broke her little clp on flash unit with water, and am now frantically trying to find a replacement nx200 flash.

The output in raw is amazing from the NX200, and especially so with any of the pancakes, which makes it a good compact option. The nx20 will be the same or better, which will make that a very good camera indeed.

However, the original post was whether the NX11 is still a good buy, and I think it is, the fact that Samsung have announced the next generation of nx cameras makes it an even better buy.

There is always a niggle buying lenses on a new mount in case it is abandoned, the fact that there is a body upgrade makes buying an NX11 relatively cheaply and getting a couple of the pancakes a good proposition IMO.
