Used lens purchase
I'm a p&s convert and the NEX-5N is my first interchangeable lens camera! I've found a seller on Craigslist for the SEL50F18 and I'll be picking it up from him tomorrow. I was hoping some of you may be about to tell me what to look out for when I check the lens. A quick google search has let me know that I should heck the front and rear elements for scratches, the lens itself for physical damage, and filter thread for damage. A final tip that I came across was shining light through the lens to check for dust particles. However, E-mount lenses have electronic aperture control, so who would I do this? Any insight. To this matter and any other tips is greatly appreciated.
