Slower CF First, SD back up

Aloha Just a Photographer,

You basically have the same set up as I do ... interesting.
Guess I am going to have to try that.

"Thank You" for the info. I was just being stubborn and refused to flip to the CF card as primary.

When I shut down a card , my choice has been to run with the Faster SD 95mb/s card.
Looks like that was a mistake.

Up on the thread a sn 3xxx , newer D800 than mine seems to be working with the same 64mb/s SD card.

Now I am wondering if it is my SD card. Because 5mb/s should not make a differance. but, of course I have not clue what the problem is at this point. lol

Nikon says to try using a smaller card .. Really? with a 36mp camera in RAW 16 bit.
Nice for a test , but not something I would like to live with.

Anyway , I will get a chance to shoot a lot of shots with small CF cards (will probably try a small SD too , just for fun) on a sports shoot job (not my cards).
Will see then.
