A Strange Bird - Philippine Frogmouth (60D+70-200 f/4L)

This nocturnal bird is so hard to see during daytime, that I consider it a big bonus to have come across this nesting specimen with only a 70-200mm lens on my 60D!

Canon EOS 60D; 0.005 sec (1/200); f/4.5; FL 200 mm; ISO 800

I blurred out a few distracting twigs in the foreground for this presentation.

This is a "Lifer" for me! Just sharing my joy with you folks! I hope you like it too
