mpjohans, I also like to know. I've used for a long time a Canon SX10is (and loved the camera). Now I have your same equipment, except that my telephoto is a a Canon 70-300 III. I took a picture yesterday (a white heron on a lake) and when I looked at the picture I was sad to see so much purple chromatic aberration (purple fringing, right?). Updated information on the camera lens but still could not test it.

I loved the SX10is zoom (20x). Unfortunately, a good telephoto lens (a 400mm for example) is quite expensive, at least here in Brazil.

Any suggestions for lens? I thought of 1.4x or 2x extender Canon (which is not cheap here, lol)

(sorry for any wrong expression in translation)
