How Many Are Using The 43 1.9 As Their Only Lens?

FA43, FA77, ... FA31 ??? danger: LBA

Thanks Andrew,

you understood exactly about the FA43.

I trust that it's the same for the FA77 (rendering versatility), but, I have not used it enough to make the same affirmation with experience to back it.

Almost every time I used it, I was astonished: the "rendering" of the FA77 is so lovely.
(When it was not good, it was because i had flunked the capture).

But, the FA77 is not as practical (meaning quick to auto-focus) as the DA70 after sunset.

I'm afraid that one day I will succumb to a LBA episode, and, buy the expensive FA31 too to complete the trio.

Brilliant

this "One aspect of the character of the FA43 is that the "feeling" or "rendering" changes when the aperture is set at 1.9 or 2.0, or 2.2, 2.5, 2.8, 3.5 or 4.0+ and so on.
Each aperture brings a slightly different "feeling". "

Is so spot on and describes one of the massive advantages fro the FA limiteds (also there Achilles heel but that's a different story ) over the even rendering of the da's

The only solution is just like pokemon gotta collect them all.
