Sigma 50 f1.4 on EOS 1 - f00
I'm just starting to shoot b&w film again as of last week, already ran a couple test rolls through my F3 and processed them in the kitchen sink - great feeling.
So then I thought I'd throw my newer EF glass on my old EOS 1 which I haven't used in ages. All my Canon L's work fine as expected, but the Sigma(lux) 50 1.4 is dead in the water, showing 00 for an Aperture. I've heard of older Sigmas throwing an error on newer bodies, but never the other way around. Anyone have advice on this? Last time I had this problem was an Error 99 with a 20D and an older Sigma, and neither side would offer any assistance.
