That's basically what a cropped shot of a small sensor camera looks like. If you had one of the Sony's it would look smeared instead of that noise reduction orange peel look. Small sensor images shouldn't be viewed at 100% unless you are willing to accept the flaws.

Even a large sensor camera will have problems with these type of indoor shots but the noise would be nicer looking and the noise reduction wouldn't be as harsh.
