It tricked me too.

I photographed many airplanes over DC in recent years, because of it I was tricked by Discovery's fly-by path.

By the way, not me only. Right next to me were photographers from Reuters and Washington Post. We all thought that flight will be from South to North, or opposite - about same as commercial jets do on fly from and to Reagan National airport. We got used to these directions...

When Discovery showed over our heads - we were unprepared - we sat with Iwo-Jima - Washington Monument - Capitol alligned into 1 frame hoping to get Discovery there too.

We were even more surprised when shuttle did 2 exact same maneuvers over our heads.

Whatever. I got nice photos and story to share. I know now how they attached shuttle to 747.

Person is taking photos, not camera. When photograph is bad, it's because photographer doesn't know how to choose settings optimal to "own preferences". Then blames camera for bad IQ.
This is same as blaming car about arriving to wrong destination.
