Considering a purchase of V1, first new camera since 2004's Pana LC1 - now I have kids and want to shoot their sports activities - does the autofocus on the native lenses hold up? What about regular lenses with the adapter? Shutter lag?

Thanks for info

Everything I've read about the Nikon 1 is that its AF system is as fast or very nearly as fast as the AF on Nikon's DSLR. Even tracking is fast on the Nikon 1.

AF tracking only works with the Nikon 1 lenses.

When you use F-mount lenses via the FT-1 F-mount adapter, you may only use single AF mode (no tracking!)

I wonder if this lack of tracking with F-mount lenses is due to some engineering restriction, or if Nikon simply locked-out this capability just to forced people to use their DSLRs instead.
