Space Shuttle Discovery's final flight

took place today, from Cape Canaveral, Florida, to the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum near Dulles Airport, just outside of Washington DC. There were some great photo opportunities from downtown, near all the monuments, where the flight circled at least three times. Some of those shots will undoubtedly make the news.

I was in Greenbelt, Maryland, when it flew over NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.
