Re: OM-D E-M5 Field Test

Yea, after learning more about the limitations of bracketing, I'm leaning towards this myself. I will probably just switch to MyMode2 for bracketing when needed. Only a few button presses, and importantly it means I don't need to keep holding down the Fn1 button all the time when shooting in that mode. I guess on the plus side I now have a free Fn1 button :).

Ooops, I just saw your other thread concerning bracketing. So I got the answer I was looking for. Can't understand why the fn button isn't simply toggling the Myset you have affected to the button. I'd prefer to access to the Myset settings through the menu then and keep the Fn1 button fr something else.

Many thanks for your review. I enjoyed the reading, particularly the description of how you set it.

I was particularly interested in your bracketing settings. But I have a question : you wrote that you have to press Fn1 and shutter release continually in order to get the the seven shots, but can't you first press the Fn button to activate mysetBRK and then press the shutter button untill the 7shots are taken ? Or do you mean that you have to keep the Fn button depressed for all the duration it takes the E-M5 to catch the 7 shots ? that is, if you activate the Myset settings you need through the Fn button it won't stick fr more than one shot ? Is this only so for the bracketing settings, or would it be the same with other kind of settings ?

Thanks again for your nice review.
