Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the D800 has facial recognition. I was wondering if that is correct and if so has any one used it? I am wondering on accuracy and if it locks in on eyes and focuses on them. If so, quick candid people shots should become much easier to nail.

D800 users please comment....

Thank you.

It works well, and I use it sometimes on D800. By the way, D700 also has face recognition in auto mode, except they called it SCENE RECOGNITION. D700 in auto area mode will focus on the person, not the closest thing to the camera (like Canons would).
