Re: X Pro-1 in the Studio

As a photographer, I basically started my career as a studio photographer. Subjects in the studio are normally going to be still until they hear a shutter click or see a flash pop. In that kind of environment, who needs super fast focus?

I have tested the Fuji in the studio and the results were awesome. However, If I only could have one and I only did studio work I would probably go for a full frame DSLR as the X-Pro1 just seems a bit out of place in a studio. But that is how I would be for all forms of photography except street. DSLR first and X-Pro1 as my back up.

Having said that, I find myself using the XP1 more than my DSLRs on jobs that involve journalism, portraits, or just carrying it around as a daily use camera. .... Of course I love to use my XP1 more than my DSLRs but the DSLR is more all-purpose than the X-Pro1 and because of that, if I only had one it would have to be the DLSR.
Plus Full Frame cameras kick butt in the studio!
