Re: EX1 - overexposed after perfectly fine preview on bright days

Hey all, well, I got it back after said re-adjustment, and could not reproduce the problem. While I completely think the sticky aperture blades could account for exactly the same problem, in my case it was simply a question of adjusting the "optical block" (they said to adjust it they have a testing environment with fixed lighting conditions - maybe that sparks the correct translation for someone).

Now, I don't know enough about digital cameras to understand why the optical block wouldn't produce the same mis-exposure in preview and result, but obviously it did and now it doesn't anymore.

To anyone who has to tone down their preview to almost black just to get decent shots: Send it in, spend the 40 € (or approx. 120 € if it is the aperture blades, that's what they told me that would cost), it really is guesswork to work with a black preview, and after my EX1 was fixed I enjoy to take it with me again. Even on beautiful sunny days
